I am forty something years old and I live in the Puget Sound of western Washington. Although I was born and raised in Kansas, and will probably always be a 'flatlander', I have always had the feeling of being welcomed here. I somehow always felt like an interruption in Kansas...hmmm
I have two four legged children who are my life, (one more so than the other, but that is HER choice!). Just recently, I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and one of the things that made me wonder about it was the fact that my dog started waking me up for no apparent reason.
Well, after a year of insomnia and continued sleep disruption, it has been confirmed (to my satisfaction, anyway), that he is waking me up when I stop breathing. He isn't a 'service' dog, per se, but I gotta tell you, much as I hate to get woke up, he is performing one heck of a service for me!
